Ella currently copies a lot of what we do and say. It's cool to hear her vocabulary improve but most of the time she says a word a few times and then stops using it. I heard that's common for her age. She is also very independent and wants to do what we do, but by herself. She likes to stand on the counter (me as a spotter right behind her) and look at the different foods and pick the one she wants to eat. Today she wanted to walk up to our friend's house and not be carried but just hold mommy's hand on the way there... she also walked up to our house on the way home. Yesterday I let her drink from my Gatoraid. You could tell she thought she was "all that" holding the bottle and drinking from it like a big girl. Yep, our little girl is growing up and there's nothing we can do about it.

Copycat
