The past couple of days Ella has not wanted to stay inside the house. Today after her nap she asked to go out. So we headed out to the little play area next to our house. Ella had a blast! She kept climbing up the stairs, running over the bridge to the slides and then would go down a slide. She did this over and over and over and over again. I had to follow her and tell her to go up the last few steps and then to sit when she came to the slide. She was so excited that she tried to run down the slide several times, so reminding her to sit was necessary for safety reasons. After a while she got the idea and when she came to the slide would look at me and say, "sit". The super cute part was when almost all the way down the slide, her hair would get frizzy. It has been a stormy day filled with static electricity. In fact, while playing it started to rain so we had to head back home earlier than planned. Both of us had a lot of fun. I wonder why I don't go there more often.
