Today we tried gardening, which was rather interesting. Ella had a meltdown while picking out some plants. After a refreshening nap for Ella, we decided to go outside and start planting. One minute after being outside, the sun came out and made it too hot to stay out long. We did manage to have some fun. After all, Ella was with her favorite friend, dirt.
We ended up planting in spurts due to the weather. Actually, we are still not done planting... and we only bought four plants. Things just take longer when you let little kids help, especially when GorElla kept running for the stairs and I had to run after her so she would not get hurt. Jonathan did enjoy it. We'll see how he likes taking care of the garden and deciding what we should plant next.
