I think Jonathan watches too much tv, so we bought a new game, Littlest Petshop Monopoly to do something different. We played for about 1 1/2 hours before he started to get tired of the game. That was a good amount of time considering the game is for 8 year olds and he is only 5. He did well. It gave him practice at adding and counting money. At one point we tried negotiating properties which ended up with Jonathan frustrated... but we worked out the misunderstanding and he was back in the game. Maybe next time we'll finish.
