We were all able to go with Jonathan and wait for the bus. Goodbyes were said and he walked on the bus to start his first day of first grade! Jonathan was excited and ready to go. He handled everything better than I did.
When the bus pulled away I felt sad watching my little boy leave but excited about all the new adventures he will have. So far he has been in school for 1 hour. I'm sure he'll have a fantastic first day.
