Yesterday Jonathan's school set aside an hour where parents and kids could come to school and meet their new teacher. It's a great idea. Jonathan takes the bus making it hard to meet the teacher. Plus it gives him a chance to know what things look like which hopefully took some first day of school jitters away. His new teacher is Mrs. Kuder and there will also be a student teacher the first 7 weeks of school. To our surprise, a couple of the neighborhood kids are in his class along with Elliot, a friend he played with a lot last year. School officially starts on Tuesday!!! I still can't believe he's a second grader.
