There's not much to report on her check up except her umbilical cord is still attached. It's freakin' me out because Ryan tells me things like, I know this one case where a baby still had his/her umbilical cord attached at 6 months and a plastic surgeon had to remove it. Anyway, the doctor was not concerned and told me to keep cleaning it... so I am.
The doctor was more concerned with weight gain and Leia definitely has gained weight... about 3 pounds in 5 weeks. She weighed in at 11 lbs. 2 ounces and was still 22 inches long.
Her neck is getting stronger so she can hold her head up a little longer. She also likes to look around and gives us adorable smiles.
Let me tell you, it wasn't hard to fall in love with this little girl.
