I know it seems rather late for Leia's first bath but I could only giver her sponge baths until her umbilical cord fell off. It finally fell off about 7 weeks after she was born.
She enjoyed her first bath more than the sponge baths. I think it was because this bath was taken in the kids bathroom and she was able to look at herself in the mirror. Surprisingly she did not cry, even when I washed her hair. Finally I could giver her a bath and not have to worry about getting her cord wet.
She was in a good mood after the bath so I took a few picture while she was drying off.
