The event started off with princesses galore. Ell and Leia were in heaven. Jonathan... not so much. He did survive the girlishness. We moved on to having the kids do some crafts which they enjoyed except Leia was very hesitant in getting her hand painted. Then we went inside to look for Jonathan's artwork on display. The kids also had a ton of fun in front of a green screen which enabled then to be in different parts of the world. (The England movie clip is for you Nana!) After that the kids had lunch and some type of sweet treat they had been eyeing. For Jonathan it was shaved ice, Ella was excited to finally get some cotton candy and Leia loved her ring pop. It was a great day with beautiful weather.
Leia loved meeting Ariel.
Ella chatting with the princesses. I love how she looks so girly yet is wearing a camouflage hat. LOVE it.
The kids with a Jedi. After the kids talked with him and Jonathan thought the Jedi left, Jonathan made a comment how he thought the high school student did a great job at playing the part of a Jedi. The boy was still in ear shot and smiled at the comment.
Let me just say... I am such a mom. It was fun to watch the kiddos enjoy themselves, but they were getting close to the light, so being a mom, I HAD to let them know. They were entertaining to watch and the guy laughing is the teacher in charge of the equipment. I think it's so funny Leia even got out of the way before the bus could hit her.
