snowboarding

Those of you who know Jonathan pretty well know he loves snowboarding. Last year the boys were only able to hit the slopes two times during the season... darn you first year of residency! Anyway, last Saturday, the boys finally went for the first time this season. They had a blast but cut the day short due to Ryan needing rest before working that night... a bigger darn you to the second year of residency.

Ryan brought the camera hoping to get some tubular, radical shots but when the time came he decided to just snowboard and have fun... men! So I found old pictures, yet again during 2007, of the boys snowboarding. I think 2007 was the year where Jonathan had an awesome season. It was his second season and he took lessons with Ryan which really upped his game. Jonathan was in Kindergarten and a few times Ryan picked him up from school and they headed out to do a few hours of snowboarding while mommy waited at home praying daddy would not keep him out too late. Can you guess who the "fun" parent is?

PS- Jonathan was 5 years old in these pictures. He started snowboarding at 4. If we have enough money next year, we are planning on bringing Ella.
