The details of the day are a little hazy to me but I think we made her bacon, a new favorite for her. Then the boys, Ryan and his dad, went off to work on building a new bed for Audrey and Leia. Little did Loren, and the little girls know a special surprise was coming. Any who, about 2 o'clock Ryan had to take off for work, yeah.. ummm ... work, and would be back soon. Loren decided to take a well deserved break until Ryan came back.
During that time, Loren relaxed and had just fallen asleep when in walked Ryan and Cassie! Cassie woke her Dad up, he waved at everyone but then realized Cassie was there and the look of surprise came over his face. It was fabulous. The kids had a great time with Cassie and I think the guys went back to making the bed???
A little later Audrey opened her presents and we ate some delicious pizza.
In the evening the Huntingtons came over for cake and ice cream. The kids had a great time playing and being crazy. It was a great day.
As far as Audrey goes, she is talking up a storm. This last month she figured out how to put words together to make sentences. It has been awesome listening to her. She also likes to sing songs. I am not sure most of the time what she is saying BUT it is super cute to watch her, especially since she adds hand movements. She loves to jump and will frequently add a skip or jump when running around. She enjoys putting Legos together and loves to draw tiny pictures. She hates having her teeth brushed, is the blankie stealer and loves to sneak into Ella's room and mess everything up. She loves, loves, LOVES shoes. She is usually the first child to put on shoes and climb into the car. She just recently found my high heels and enjoys walking around in those.
Audrey is still a petite little thing but full of life, just like her fabulously, crazy, curly hair. We are thrilled to have her as a part of our family. We love you Audrey!!!
