This is way, way, waaaay overdue but about a month or two after we moved out here, we adopted a dog... Buddy. Buddy was found in an ally, about 2 months old, and at first was thought to be a cat because of his ears. Upon closer look, she (Buddy's rescuer) realized he was a dog. She took him home and took care of him until someone came along to adopt him, which became us.
We are not use to having a puppy so it has been a completely new experience for us. Buddy can get really excited and is constantly looking for someone to play with him. He likes to try and play with Ella but Audrey actually interacts with him the most... out of the kids. He LOVES to chew on things so the kids have learned, and keep learning, the hard way not to put their things on the floor. We have lost many shoes, toys and he also has taken to biting bikes. Yikes! You would think his teeth would eventually dull down but so far it appears they have not.
We do love him though and are so glad he is part of our family. He watches over us, especially me which is nice. He loves to sit next to us or on top of someone's feet. We just need to train him a little and he will be one fantastic dog.
